When Will My Puppy Lose His Puppy Teeth?

Do you have an adorable, furry little puppy that has razor sharp teeth that he likes to use to maul your fingers and hands with? Don't worry, that won't go on forever. Those puppy teeth will be coming at about the four month old stage and be replaced with permanent teeth that won't be as sharp.
The 28 sharp puppy teeth your puppy has now will fall out and be replaced with 42 permanent adult teeth when your puppy is four months old. Be watchful of your puppy's mouth during this teeth changeover time because dental problems can occur.
Sometimes the puppy teeth don't fall out as they should and the new adult teeth come in anyway. This situation can cause several problems for your dog like teeth misalignment, incorrect jaw development and gum infection.
Check your puppy's mouth daily during the four month old stage to be certain that all the puppy teeth are coming out as they should. A double row of teeth will tell you the puppy teeth are not coming out properly and your puppy will need to see a veterinarian for possible removal of the puppy teeth so no health issues will arise for your puppy.
