When will this recession end?
posted November 5, 2009 - 9:57pmFinancial resources are running scarce and as of October 7, 2009 there are 6,034,000 jobless workers who are collecting unemployment benefits. This is affecting those of all levels of education and is threatening the safety net of all Americans. Savings accounts are being depleted and homes are going into foreclosure at rapid rates. nbsp; "Under the Senate bill, jobless benefits would be extended by 14 weeks for workers who have exhausted their benefits. Those in states with jobless rates of 8.5 percent or more would get another six weeks of benefits, for a total of 20 weeks extra." But what after this? The extended time of unemployment and underemployment drains the economy and in turn, increases deficit. So, when will this recession end again?
