When your past comes back to you.

Today has been one of those days where you can't get your past out of your mind. Have you had those days? Where no matter what you are doing on that day, you are constantly reminded of something that happened in your past.

I woke this morning to one of those days. As I was getting ready for work, I was remembering  getting ready to go off to my first day on my very first job. I haven't thought of that job in years. If I still lived in that town my commute would have been half the time.

After getting to work, I was sitting there writing in my journal, and again the past went into my writing. I found myself writing about things that happened to me or with me eighteen  years ago. The only reason I can think that my past would be showing itself now, is that after sixteen years I am back home. The old saying you can't go home again is not always right. I did go home again, and I have never felt better in my life.
