Where do we draw a line? Should nurses be banned from having relationship with patients? Debate

There is a romantic Mill&Moon idea of a patient falling in love with their nurse. The reality is there has been horrifying reports of sexual abuse of patients by healthcare professionals; this cannot be tolerated.

The CHRE proposal to ban relationship with former patients, unless clinical contact has been minimal, will help reinforce and improve public protection.

Within the healthcare setting nurses and clinicians are there to do a professional job consent procedures can't cover 'dating'
