Where Is The News Today!!!?

Ok, where is the news!!!? I was getting ready to get on my plane back to Chicago Wednesday morning October 31st when I was watching CNN at the gate. Instead of reporting any news with substance about the Democratic debates on Tuesday night, they went on to report the dance skills of the candidates. They spent more time on that than talking about the potential rate drop by the Feds on Wednesday. Is it just to early for real news at 7AM? Is there just not enough news out there to report? Perhaps it is the fact that our American Idol society doesn't want to know the issues of candidates, but their dance skills. Ridiculous!!!

People don't want to know

People don't want to know the truth about what is happening in the world. They say they do, but they really don't. We have been conditioned to take the easier way out of life and the power elites have been happy to oblige by providing us with "bread and circuses" while they "take care" of the running of our lives. It is the rare individual who bucks the system and challenges what the average person considers acceptable. Sometimes that individual succeeds in effecting real change, but most often the PTB use the media and political intrigue to squash him or her pour encouragez les otres. So, the only way there will be real news in our lives is if we go out and make it happen for ourselves. Otherwise our lives will be an unending string of same-old-same-old until we die. I choose to create my own destiny. _______________________________________________________ "In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act."--George Orwell I'm getting paid to write. Not enough to talk about

I guess when you have a half dozen 24 hour news channels they run out of things to talk about. At least they are talking about the candidates and not Brittany Spears! I guess it could be worse. Angel RobinetteDesign.com
