White Oleander, the Book and Movie

The 1999 book White Oleander by Janet Fitch skyrocketed in sales after being chosen for Oprah's book club that same year. The story got a further boost when it was made into a in 2004 with a dream cast of female stars: Michelle Pfeiffer,Renee Zellweger, Robin Wright Penn, and Alison Lohman.

White Oleander concerns the story of a girl in foster care who is grappling with being separated from her mother. IMDB.com has more information on the movie.
