Who is at fault... The Raped or the Rapist?

“I should not have drunk.”

“If only I did not trust him.”

“I should not have walked alone through the lonely street in the dark.”

“I should not have agreed to meet him.”

ldquo;Wish I did not open the door for him.”

“I should not have got into the car with him.”

“I should not have gone to that place in the night.”

“I should not have insulted him.”

“I should not have gone to that party.”

“I should not have worn that dress."

Do these statements sound familiar? Yes, you guessed it right. Those are statements of rape victims who curse themselves for having been raped.

Rape is Not the Victims Fault!

To many times when someone is raped the victim is the one to set out to be blamed!I am someone who was raped.I didnt wear the wrong clothes, nor did i go looking for it.I didnt lead someone on or even talked to someone in a wrong way.I was attacked because thier was something wrong with the man who raped me!I was left emotionally scared, and fearfull of my surroundings.People need to quit judging the rape victims and deal with the true issue at hand.People need to start finding out why men decide to force themselfs on someone in a forcefull manner!Noone deserves to be raped!

Harmful Article!

Please do not continue to read this article if you have been a rape victim! To the author: Do you have any idea how mentally and emotionally harmful this artilce could be to a rape victim? Rape prevention should never be confused with blaming the victim in any way!
