Who has a high school reunion coming up?

As I sit here, watching "Romy and Micheles High School Reunion", I started thinking about my own impending high school reunion. That ten year reunion should be coming up soon for me, and it's left me wondering. Do I even want to go?

High school was awkward enough the first time around. On the one hand, a reunion is the opportunity to reconnect with people you've long lost touch with and have always regretted not being able to hang out with in the years following graduation. On the other hand, these are the people who saw you during the strangest moments of puberty.

Do you take Romy and Michele's route, and fake having a fabulously successful life, just to rub it in the noses of your high school enemies? If you were popular, do you go just so you can feel that rush again? What exactly is the up side of going?
