Sydney Kimmel heads the Jones Apparel Group, Inc., a leading fashion house of the World. His Sydney Kimmel Entertainment is another venture that has produced a number of popular Hollywood movies. The Sidney Kimmel Foundation for Cancer Research is committed to fight cancer and funds cancer research extensively. The foundation also supported "Stand Up to Cancer", a special feature televised simultaneously by ABC, CBS and NBC for cancer fund raising and which featured a host of celebrities.
