Over 70 million votes were cast for the American Idol tuesday night. The shocking news was that none of the remaining six contestants were sent home. The night was meant to be a charitable event to raise money for many different causes throughout the world. The Idol producers felt that the night should be left for just that and allowed all of the remaining contestants one more week. Next week all of the votes will be added together and two idol's will be going home. Sanjaya is probably wishing they would have done this a week ago!
