While what you say is partly true it is not all true. First those illegal aliens live in temporary shelters or camp out or all group togather to share housing and expenses. They pool the money to pay rent and or utilities if they even have them. Some jobs the employer provides cheap housing one or two rooms example orchard fruit workers. Many have provided housing for the season. While an American citizen with Five kids has to pay rent or mortgage, utilities, mandantory auto insurance which IS NOT ever covered in social programs or at least not in my state. Day care costs, auto upkeep and expense, Medical insurance and other needed insurance. Illegal immigrants often are helped to go to work, or get ONE driver to take all the workers to work. Where as one or two parent households have to go on their own after dropping kids off at day care. Illegal immigrants then save and send the money they earn back home after pooled living expenses to a nation that things are cheaper to live at. Many poorer nations unlike Americans are still agricultural in many parts, they have chickens or goats often and are accostumed to living 12 people to a 1 or two room house. Most of Amecicans live in the city or burbs with some few living rural. Other countries have public transportation throughout the country for people to use In America we only have it in larger cities. Society here in America sends in the CPS if a family is sharing a 1-2 room house to take the kids away from unhealtny crowded enviroment. You paint a picture of people who are lazy but I personally know of people and not one or two but many people who have applied for low wage minimum wage jobs even though it means losing beneifts to feed the family or medical to help out but employer's won't hire them. I personally know right now 11 people who will take any job and work two if need to make ends meet and Employer's won't hire them because they are American Citizens. So as a social worker your seeing only part of the picture. And yes there are lazy people. I know some of those too who won't work for anything and they are without excuse. They want a free hand out and don't budget or plan anything. They don't know the what it means to save or to make do or do without until you can afford it. so your right but not all right not all Americans are lazy, there are many who want to work and simply are not hired because the job goes to an illegal alien.
