Why captivating a private Audience to display one's desire is evil.
posted October 8, 2006 - 12:35pm Human beings are, by nature - voyeurs. It is for this reason that now we are surrounded by the very objects which we have created to satisfy our eternal, unquenched gaze. These objects are none other than those common appliances we now take so formally for granted; example 1 -
the TV. What did we do before, nonetheless, how did we survive all those hundreds of years when we didn't have those metallic containers of electronic deceit to greet us all after a hard day's work? Another pertinent example would be the computer, of course - what, with all its webcams, and high resolution media-playing Tommy and Pam hype-shit, its a wonder how any of us can even face any other of us at all.
This brings me to my point...that is which to draw the very line between what 'naturally' drives us instinctively, and those choices between good and evil, which we face daily. However, before you email your church buddies or call your Sunday morning walking partner(s), just please realize one thing. This line between the two ideologies - 1, which is to 'be as human as possible' even in an environment which has taken the very thing that we can identify as 'human' and added TO it, IN it, and AROUND it these assumptions, questions, fears, products, memories, lies, and boundaries. (and) 2, To know morality from our own experiences, we should be clear with our motives, and display the same respect and admiration towards others, which we feel towards ourselves.
She is beautiful. I won't, and I can't lie to you. In a society that breeds its young on false expectations and tricks them into buying into the same crap that fed you as you were raised...well, there isn't much room for love, is there. Naivety abounds, even away and far from this writing which you are reading now. Do not be afraid, that I do not understand. On the contrary - I fully understand. This understanding comes from direct, uninhibited, and even straighter to the point - unfulfilled experience.
As unrequited as it might sound, I'm hoping that you understand what I'm talking about. If you still can't fully grasp this literally literary road map to my heart, I hope that you at least find peace. Above all, I wish you to be given back that love which you yourself have put right out there.
As for me, I already know, because I know I will see her there. There will never be war where there exists a battle over heart space. The victor is me. Even when I see you with him, again and again. He fades with the passing day, and like the fading sun I gaze upon your setting face.
