Here's my take:

Harry Shearer is the voice of Ned Flanders on The Simpsons.
He's also the bassist for the fictitious "Spinal Tap" rock band. He used to be on Saturday Night Live. He was a founding member of the improv group, The Credibility Gap, (along with David Landers and Michael McKean, of "Lenny & Squiggy" fame).

There a website called http://www.mydamnchannel.com that Harry contributes video clips to. His portion is called, "Found Objects", and trust me, he finds some jewels.

They are clips of TV personalities who are waiting to go on the air, or maybe just got off the air. It's got to be seen to be appreciated, but sometimes he gets clips that anyone can grasp just by hearing about. One is a 9 minute tirade from "Dr." Laura that will have you thanking your lucky stars you don't have to work with or for her.
