Why Supremacists Are NOT Supreme

Supremacists are not necessarily of low intelligence and negligible intellect but thankfully most people regard them as idiots and certainly not as supreme or superior individuals. Unfortunately they cannot be ignored as they can be dangerous. Yesterday a White Supremacist shot and killed a Security Guard in Washington DC’s Holocaust Museum. This heinous act inspired this short article – essentially why Supremacists are not supreme or superior:

Supremacists, also termed Nazis and Fascists, are at least problematic in any community and at most responsible for the worst crimes against humanity. Most religions and races have their extremist supremacist sects. The Holocaust, many war-crimes and many abhorrent violent social crimes have their roots in deluded beliefs of supremacy.

The foundation of their Supremacist beliefs is tenuous – they believe that their sect has pure blood and killing those without it protects them. That is nonsense. The fact is that ALL humans descend from two African families. DNA proves this theory beyond doubt. Atheists, Monotheists and Polytheists no matter where they are in the world are therefore all distant relations. The sooner all Supremacists realise that they are hating, slaughtering and isolating themselves from their extended family, the better for all humanity.

Taking pleasure in others discomfort, death and ill fortune is like enjoying your own and your family's downfall.

Hi if you've come here from Twitter where this article is being promoted this evening to garner reads (and hopefully comments of more than 140 characters) from those who will be watching the fascist Nick Griffin partake in debates about politics and society in the UK and abroad.  It is refreshing to find that most Tweets are taking a stand against the lowlife.

I admire it for standing against pornography and gambling.  Google's attitude to racists and supremacists is also akin to my own. 

The original article (you might not have seen that) did forward a stronger argument and I still stand by that and have run it by many a liberal and others qualified to offer resonable views.  They saw why it could be misunderstood but appreciated the vigour with which I stand up for what I believe in and protecting those who are vulnerable and in weaker positions.

Censorship Lives, more on some sites than others

I was totally against the censorship put upon your first article. And, with all due respect to this site's owners, it is my belief censorship is alive and well right here on Xomba, governed by a few, pushed upon the many (writers). Censorship voids "freedom of the press." Censorship voids the right to free speech. I don't work well under such conditions, and refuse to follow the many who want to fit-in with "the crowd." Supremacism and its followers believe in censorship, they believe in freedom of speech, but, only for themselves, not for anyone else. When the original article was flagged, I asked for your advice partly due the article you mentioned. I disagree with your conclusions on this rewritten article. Rants are a series of jingoes and cliches. Wading in is not and should not be confused with ranting. I'm not saying it won't be my downfall but it's been my salvation too. Bullies need a wake up call, they need help, should be pitied but can and do change and radically. Victims need protecting from bullies disempowering them practically and theoretically by removing their weapons and damaging their ideology - does that. The aim of this article is to damage racist ideology by offering incontrovertable proof that Supremacism is factually wrong - we're all related so it is. That said, you seem to voice about this article (albeit belatedly) what other decent people voiced about the original article. I saw their point then. Even at that, I don't know if I really should. Am I defending the actions of the individual who committed murder? No. Am I by my silence on the subject condoning the ideology that says that one group is better than another? Certainly not. Why, then, would I hesitate to respond, even though I was asked to leave a comment? My life, as are all of ours, is governed by the Law of Attraction in which "like attracts like". Last year, I wrote an article entitled "Should we be Pro-Peace or Anti-War?" to examine the danger of giving any energy to what we don't want instead of keeping the focus on what we DO want. Therefore, to write what amounts to a rant (although this one was toned down compared to the original) against racist ideology is to empower those who believe in that ideology. Whereas the OP wanted to ridicule them, the unintended consequence was and is to feed what drove them and a good way to ensure that we get more of the same. I choose to be pro-equality and give everyone a seat at the table. That is my focus and that is the understanding by which I write.
