Why use firefox, the most advanced browser?

Intro:

The Mozilla Firefox (originally named Phoenix, then Firebird for a short time) is a free, multi-platform open source web browser. Firefox is developed by the Mozilla Corporation.
History:

The Firefox (FF) version 1.0 was released on November 9th 2004. It was downloaded more than a million times, in 24 hours. Today on my webpage most of the visitors use Firefox (around 48%), while 44% uses internet explorer.

Advantages:

The most important advantage is the user-friendly interface. The settings contain only the most important information. If you want to modify more things, write ‘about:config’ in the URL bar and hit enter.

In Firefox you can use tabs for easier browsing. Firefox was one of the first browser which blocks pop-up windows, so the ads won’t be displayed. If you want, you can allow pop-ups for certain sites.

With the help of the built-in search toolbar you can easily search for something in Google, or other web search engines (yahoo, Amazon, eBay etc).

You can modify the appearance of the browser with the themes. You can use the Mozilla update website for downloading new themes. You can also download different plugins, buttons etc.

With the help of the automatic updates, Firefox is always up to date.

Firefox can be used in different operating systems: Windows, Mac OSX, or other Linux-based operating systems. Firefox can be downloaded in lots of different languages, the translations are quality work too.

The Firefox is an open-source program, which means everyone can access the source code. This helps improving the main program, and searching for unknown errors or security holes.
Firefox 3 is smaller, better and faster than most of the other browsers (Internet explorer, Opera).

Summary:

Firefox has won lots of different awards. I think you should try it, if you haven’t tried it before. You won’t be disappointed.
