I was a little girl when I first met Link. I was immediatley smitten. He wore green, my favorite color, fought with a sword and spells, and was way better then the guy with a fairy my friends were all into: Peter Pan. The older I got, the more advanced he got. In Jr. High he was debuting on Super Nintendo, in high school he was battling on the Game Cube. I remember going to the ranch together and riding horses, or playing fun Mid-way games in the village just outside the castle. He would play his flute for me, songs he had learned, songs he had written himself, and songs I had written for us. I knew his heart belonged to another, but I was in second place, infront of that annoying sprite anyway. Now I am in my senior year of college and Link was a distant memory. Then I heard the news - Zelda for Wii. Damn it! Just when i thought I was over the guy he shows up in the best version of Zelda ever created. Don't believe me?
