You can actually go shopping with an iTunes gift card and it’s not just to get music these days, you can use it to download much more like TV Shows and Movies. Many contests and sweepstakes are available on the internet. Almost all of them are free to enter. Usually sweepstakes are free to enter and require nothing but your information in the entry form. Contests are usually skill building or have some type of requirement.
Remember most legitimate sweeps/contests do not require you to pay anything to enter. There may be a rare legitimate one that requires an entry fee but it is suggested that you do some research and check them out before paying to enter anything like this.
