The winner of design star is Jennifer

It was an awesome season with lots of great competition. They ended the season by redoing houses in New Orleans that were hit really hard by the hurricane katrina.

Both Matt and Jennifer did great with both of their projects and the families were really pleased with the final results. As the final two they get a 7 day cruise. And the winner gets their very own show.

Brad, the first winner, still has his show on the air. Perhaps, Jennifer will be just as lucky to have such a long running show.

HGTV is also adding new shows to the line up so watch for them.
