Fide :-World Chess Championship 2007- Mexico -Vishy Anand In Lead and in sight Of world Crown

Fide:-The world chess champioship 2007-Mexico- is coming to a close by 30 sept 2007at Mexico City . The present world number One and Indian genius Vishy Anand is in lead with 8 points with only 2 more rounds remaining. He is ahead of all others and with one full point more than his nearest rival Boris gelfand.

The present world Chess Champion Vladimir Kramnik is way behind with only 6.5 points having only theoretical chance of retaining the crown.

It may be recalled that Kramnik regained the crown of unified chess champion by defeating Topalov the then FIDE champion and present number two in a controversial match.
