World runs into ecological debt

The world is consuming more than it can sustain - human consumption has exceeded earth's "carrying capacity" and we moved have into 'ecological overdraft'. Ecological Debt Day this year is three days earlier than in 2006. We are headed for an environmental disaster soon.
