World of Warcraft: Druid Feral Build / Druid Balance Build / Druid Resto Build
posted September 23, 2009 - 3:47pmThe different builds in World of Warcraft for Druids can be daunting if you haven't mastered them. I'm here to help with this difficult and often confusing path in World of Warcraft.
The Druid class in World of Warcraft is a class that is extremely versatile and can pretty much do anything. As a druid you can tank, melee dps, ranged dps and heal. Wow, that's a lot of stuff. In order to fully master the aspect of the druid that you choose, you've got to be familiar with what each of the Druid Talent Build situations you'll be encountering.
World of Warcraft Druid Feral Talent Build
Feral Druids are the tanks and the melee dps, depending on which one you choose. specializing in Cat Form will allow you to compete with Rogues in overall damage. The upside to this is that you can still Switch to Bear Form if you pull a lot of aggro so you won't die. Rogues can't do that! =) Leveling up as a Feral Druid is also a very efficient way to go, being that you don't have to use any of your mana to fight. You can pop into cat form, tear some enemies up and when your health gets low, you just pop out of cat form and heal yourself. Rinse and repeat and you've got a druid leveling build with almost zero downtime.
World of Warcraft Druid Balance Talent Build
Balance Druids take the spellcasting side of life. With Balance you'll be able to root players, swarm them with DoT insects, summon Treants to fight for you in the heat of battle, and much more. Moonkin form gives you an increase in armor to help you be less squish as a druid balance talent build caster. Balance Druid have recently been buffed, resulting in people who used to call them OOMkins, now calling them BOOMkins. haha, yeah baby.
World of Warcraft Druid Restoration Talent Build
Restoration or "Resto" is a build that buffs your healing abilities. What sets the Druid apart from the priest, however, is that fact that most of the Restoration Druid Talent Build abilities you get to buff are going to be instant cast. This means you can run around and heal people, whereas Priests, Shaman, and Paladins can't. This is a huge advantage to Druid healing, and I love to have them in my party when I'm playing my alts.

I looked into playing WoW once, but I am afraid it would take too much of my time. It looks very good though, and articles like the above also show that there is a lot of depth in it
