The Worst Manager I Ever Had: By Wdzzz

The Worst Manager I Ever Had: By Wdzzz

Well, the other day I was in a business management class and they had us write down the worst manager we had ever served under. I could only think of one name and he was the worst manager I ever had.

The teacher had us write down all the things we hated about that manager. So, I started writing.

He were unfair; he treated me worse that everyone else.

He were gracious with everyone, but with me, he was condemning, and nothing was ever good enough. Talk about being nit picky; oh he was the worst.

He celebrated others good actions for weeks and mine for only a few minutes.

He didn’t communicate well with me either, but he seemed to communicate with everyone else reasonably well, and this confused me.

Oh and abusive, he called me all kinds of names for years: horrible names like scum, dirt bag, lazy, stupid, and all kinds of other names, some of which cannot be posted.

The teacher asked us about how we could deal with the manager on our list.

All of us students went over how to discuss the problems with the manager.

As for me I was still dealing with this manager. But, I made my plan and decided how to deal with this manager. I would never have to listen to him again.

So, after class I went to my manager and fired him. Yes you heard it, I fired him. Oh, it has been so freeing. I felt this huge weight lifted off of me. They joy and the peace has been wonderful.

The other day my ex-manager came to me and started belittling me. He said that I would never make it with out him, and that I was just being prideful for firing him, and that I technically couldn’t actually fire them. I just ignored him and went on my merry way.

Do you want to know the name of this manager? Are you sure?

The name of this manager was called…

‘Myself’

Pride vs Ego vs Spirit

Talk about a love triangle!! Our own worst enemy and the webs we weave. That all pretty much sums up the personal conflicts between me and my manager! LOL I will work on ignoring the ego, concentrating on others to diminish the pride and allowing the light to brighten the spirit! MJ - Sending happy thoughts and Smiles! Ignoring a manager works also

Looking at your situation as if you were somebody else works. what I mean is that if the manager talks talking to you in dis-conformity as you would treat your best and dearest love one, ingnore him/her. Plus, focusing on the best for others really helps, because then the manager has no accesss, because you are not giving them any opportunity to enter into the conversation. Funny you should post this

I have been attempting to fire my worst manager also. I guess I'm being too easy on her though. She doesn't seem to be getting the message. ; ) Maybe a bit more firmness on my part is needed. The worst manager i ever had

Surprising twist, but we are the hardest critics on ourselves.
