Fun and Easy way to Make Money at Mylot.com

Fun and Easy way to Make Money at Mylot.com

I have been writing on Mylot.com for a couple of days now. There is already money in my account there. The website is a community in which members start a discussion and other members make comments on the discussions. And you get paid!

There seem to be a lot of members and a lot of interesting conversations. And the best part is you get paid for how much you participate. I put up six discussion questions yesterday and today in my account there is already money in my account and I wasn't on the site for much more than a half-hour. And those cents added up a lot quicker than adsense earnings. Besides Mylot.com is fun. I'm going to keep adding a few discussions and leaving comments for other discussions each day.

Check it out here. If you like Xomba you'll like this site. Oh yeah, and it's very easy to sign up, just pick a name and a password and give an email address and you are ready to start writing and earning.

Mylot is not an alternative to Xomba--it is something you can do in addition to your blog at Xomba. Mylot is an entirely different type of site. You don't post blogs or articles--you write discussion questions, chat with people, and leave comments on other discussions. It is a way to make a little bit of money on the side. I go over to Mylot a few times a day between writing articles and doing my blogs or if I'm bored.

Hope to see you there.

* From reading some of the comments to this post, I see there are some questions and some confusion, so I am updating this post.

Mylot pays through paypal. When you reach $10.00 in your account, you get that money paid to your paypal account.

It seems that the way you get paid is as follows: you get one cent per comment you leave on a discussion. You get a couple of cents for each discussion that you start. You also get around 2 to 4 cents for each picture that you upload either with your comment, discussion, or just on the "photo" section of your mylot page.

In addition, you make more money for how popular your discussion is and the more comments you receive (and respond to). Basically, the idea is to keep a genuine discussion going, and putting a few cents in your pocket at the same time. It's a good site to surf over to in between doing other things and put up a few discussions and post a few comments each day.

It's simple: the more you participate on the site, the more you get paid. One other way to make money is through referrals to the site. Mylot will match you 25% of the earnings of each person you refer. That way money adds up in your account even when you are doing nothing. Make money while you are sleeping!

Good luck. Here's my referral link. Sign up, start writing, and you'll start earning. Have fun and see you there.

1x1=1

Ken..hehe..I didn't know if it was you who had done that or not. So I wasn't really directing that at you!! I just really hate it when someone comes along and gives me a one, or anyone else for that matter, and doesn't take the time to leave a comment about why they did it. And yeah, the 'peddling your wares' thing confuses me too. When I first read this, I kind of bowed up like you did..ha!! Like, "what's he doing coming to MY favorite site trying to 'woo' people away from here?" But I guess if Admin doesn't see it that way, we shouldn't either. It's a big ol' goofy world out there, and there's lots of 'blog' money to go around apparently. So I think it's pretty cool that Admin is willing to share this kind of info in order to help everybody make a little bit of it. Your other points are well taken and a fair assessment of how you feel about the article as a whole. And I think it was really "sweet" of you to come back and cop to the '1' and take the time to explain yourself. You know I love ya'!! So can we kiss and make up now?! Lady:P

bdwick...

Mylot pays through paypal. Once you reach $10.00 in your account, you get paid out. I am currently at around $5 in my account and I got there by going to the site a few times a day (at slow times while I'm at work) and putting up discussions, comments, and pictures. It's not a get rich quick scheme, just something you can do to make a few bucks on the side. The more you participate, the more you make. It's pretty self-explanatory and it's a good place to go over to in between writing articles or blogs and getting into discussions or just putting up comments. Or if you are just bored at work, like me!

Re: 1x1=1

I thought it was obvious that I gave him one star, Lady, so I didn't mention it. Here are my problems with the article: 1)He's advertising some other site that doesn't seem compatible in any way with Xomba or my adsense account. For this I flagged it for view by the admin because I apparently still don't understand when its ok to peddle your wares here. 2)He's promoting earning money for little or no work which always smacks of some sort of scam that I'd rather not involve myself in. 3)It really isn't very informative at all in terms of how they pay their writers or what sort of income is possible beyond he couple cents he claims to have made in a half hour. It might as well have just been a link to the site that said, "Check this out, its cool:" No ill intent in the vote, just an accurate representation of the (lack of) merit of the article. "Thank you for driving carefully through the villiage." That's what the sign says.

Re: Thanks for the hints Admin

Me too, I appreciate hearing about ways to improve click-through since the regular CTR doesn't seem to be very high. I'll check some of those suggestions out and see what the story is.

Re: Mylot Question

I read through MyLot's intro and it doesn't seem to mention AdSense. It looks like they keep the AdSense $ and the user gets paid from asking and answering questions.

Thanks for the hints Admin

I, for one, appreciate the pointers...thanks!!

One x One = One

One vote, one star... Don't you hate that?! You're just never sure what the problem was? I wonder who it was? Could it be spelling? Could it be form? Could it be grammar? Could it be that I did better than they did on this other site? Could it be jealousy? Could it be vindictiveness? Could it be that they aren't doing well here either, and so they are going to do their level best to make sure I don't either? Could it be that they don't want one of their posts to drop off of the highest rated list? I still can't figure it out myself... Thank you for sharing something that may or may not benefit someone else. :) At least you took the time...

Right on...

Thanks for the kind words... Check out putting affiliate links on your Xombytes. I've been meaning to really test a few affiliate link programs, but just haven't had time. However, if you guys want to check them out and then let me know if it paid off that would be awesome. The best links are: http://performics.com/ http://www.cj.com/ http://linkshare.com/ http://www.clickbank.com/ These sites offer you ways to promote a product in your article and then you get commission if anyone purchases the product. Some of them pay pretty nice. Like let's say you wrote an article and sold 3 products, you might earn 40 dollars. I haven't tested any of these yet so I can't tell you which works best. However, this is how I would do it. I would choose a topic. Find 2 or 3 affiliate products that are related to the topic. I would write the article about the topic keeping it interesting and informative. Then at the bottom I would add the affiliate links. You can do it anyway you want. Your goal shouldn't be to sell the product, you want to write something interesting enough that people will read it. Take for example my Xombyte on Hottest Christmas Toys. Do you know I've gotten something like 1000 reads on it. Almost all my reads have come from people finding me on Google Search engine. Here's the best part: It has a Click Thru Rate of 15%. So if I would have put a couple of affiliate links on there and sold 5-10 products I could have made additional money on top of the Adsense. I'm just suggesting another revenue source you might want to try. I'll eventually post a Xombyte about it once I test out those programs. Good Luck and thanks for the kind words. We do our best to make this feel like a community, not just some place where you just throw up your articles or blogs. We have some special surprises we're working on, but there about a month away. You'll also be noticing an increase in traffic over the next several days. Take Care.

Mylot Question

Can I use my adsense account on mylot or is it something completely different. It's just a pain in the hindquarters to sign up for new accounts.

I concur

Yeah...I checked out blogfeast and bloggerparty, too. I didn't find them very user friendly. They both seemed kinda chaotic. And soulcast isn't very good either. You can only post 5 per day. Blogfeast you can only do one every 15 minutes. I'm sticking with my two favorites - xomba and blogevolve.
