Write Someone A Love Letter Today

I watched "Love Letters"  with Laura Linney and Steven Weber last night for the first time. How is it that there wasn't more buzz about it, or was I buzzed when it came out? I won't spoil the plot by retelling it here, but let me tell you that it made a big impact on me, and I ended up having some pretty odd dreams (not all that uncomfortable, but  intense). The first thing I wanted to do, when I finally came to, was to get out some wonderful stationary and start to write each and every one of the dearest love's in my life a letter. Does anyone do this anymore? The prayer is that they'll keep it, and will have something directly from my heart to their's after I'm gone. Maybe I'll use the gorgeous glass pen that my daughter brought me back from Venice; if the wording is less than poetic, the thing will look elegant at least. Do yourself a favor and get this movie, it's going to sink deep into your heart and stay there...and that's a promise. Oh, and go out and buy some good stationary, I think they still sell it.
