Writer's Block : Solution Trick
posted September 18, 2009 - 2:52am
As a blogger who must come up with a number of interesting blog posts on a regular basis is bound to end up with Writers Block! This is the stage where a writer sits with his computer before him and bites his nails wondering what on earth to write about. The mind is blank and totally devoid of all ideas except for the fear of missing the deadline.
So if you are a writer in such a situation, what do you do? For starters get up and switch off the computer. No I am not mad. I know you need to write but its important to have an inspiring idea before you can begin to write. Plus sitting and looking at a blank page with a blinking cursor is no way to get inspired. Now switch off that computer and move out of the room.
Now look around you. What room are you in? What's happening there? Is there anything that you can relate to in a future blog post? Then pick up the newspaper. See what the headlines are. Does anything help or hinder your niche in the papers. Talk to family and friends. Find out what they are doing. Get a clue about what they would like to read about.
There will be many false starts and then the bulb will light up with the one idea that you can really write about. Now get back to your computer and while you switch it on start writing points about what all you need to cover in the structure of your post. Think of possible tags that will help and the keywords that you need to include. Now that you have removed the Writer's Block get back to what you do the best ...Write.
All the best!
