Writers Guild Talks Break Down; TV Writers to Strike?

Talks between the entertainment studios and the WGA (Writers Guild of America) broke down Wednesday night, with both sides blaming the other for the deadlock.

As with previous talks, the sticking point was apparently the writers' desire to get more residuals from DVD sales.

Now that the contract has expired, the WGA can order a writers' strike at any time.
