I’ve been a member of Xomba since late September 2008, and after working on the site a while, I was thrilled to receive my first AdSense check (for $149.38). The other day, I received my second AdSense check in the mail for my work on Xomba (this one was for $105.40). I have to confess that I was just as overjoyed to get this check as I was the first one (though I suppose nothing can compare to the excitement of receiving that first AdSense check, but this was pretty close!)

After taking a break over the holidays and into the New Year, I’ve been working hard again on Xomba, trying to increase my revenues. Yesterday, I reached 700 Xomblurbs and this article will be my thirtieth published Xombyte for Xomba. As I’ve been spending more time concentrating on working at Xomba, my AdSense is again rising, and if I work hard here, it looks like I’ll be on track to receive another AdSense check this month as well.

In these tough economic times, when it’s so hard to find employment and the job outlook is so depressing, I love how sites like Xomba are here for me twenty four seven. If I want to rise early and treat my online writing for sites like Xomba like my full time job, I can do it. If I want to work on Xomba part time, in a really flexible way around my schedule, I can do that also. I think pursuing online writing at places like Xomba is an excellent way to make money and publish your writing during these challenging economic times.

So I’m excited about the earnings potential at Xomba and I enjoy being a part of the community here. I write for several websites, but this summer I’m thinking about concentrating more on working for Xomba. If you are anticipating your first AdSense check for your Xomba writings but not quite there yet, just keep working hard and it will happen. There’s nothing like the excitement of receiving that first AdSense check (and the thrill continues with each AdSense check after the first one!)
