My opinion on my experience at home depot

It has changed so much. Before you would have to go all over the floor to fine someone to help you and it was usually someone from another department who did not know anything about that department so they would have to go and find someone who was in the department. We started to go to Lowe's. But I recently saw an ad for Behrs paint that had the primer already in it. So we went to home depot and I could not believe that about 5 people who worked their came up to us before we even got to the paint department and asked if there was anything they could help us find. It was a little to much to be honest but a least someone did acknowledge us this time. But i loved the paint and will never use any other paint again. It went on so easy and I hardly had to go back for touch ups and I only had to use one coat. I was great. While I was there I also picked up a few Christmas decorations. Thanks for a new great experience.

excellient service at the Cave Creek AZ store

My wife and I enjoy the friendless of the staff and there expert experience, the electrical department has a woman who is a professional electrician and has helped us to no end in
selection lighting for our home. The lawn n garden area is another example of excellent people.
There is a Lows store a few blocks away but doesn't compare to the know-age and helpful
attitude. Thank you!

Helpful

The Casa Grande store has one of the best salesperson we have ever encountered. If all salespersons was as helpful, knowledgeable and courteous as Irene is then it would be a pleasure to shop. She helped us with selecting, cutting and installing wooden blinds. She also helped in selecting bathroom and kitchen tile and also helped us select some wooden flooring. What a most helpful salesperson. Thank you for hiring Irene (42159 41848 ).

Outstanding Employee

I was looking for closet shelves and drawers. I stopped at Home Depot and a female employee told me to go on line to Home Depot and order my closet insets from there. Knowing what that is like, it's not user friendly, you need to be an engineer in order to do it, I left Home Depot and went to Menard's.
A gal there offered to help me with my order, but they didn't have the drawers that I wanted. Another day, I went back to Home Depot for a last effort.
That day, I met Amy Heyman. I told her what I wanted, and told her the only way I could buy closet insets was if someone would help me pick everything out.
I had the measurements and knew how I wanted it to look. I asked her if there was anyone in the store who could do it? She said she would. If it wouldn't have been for her, your store would have lost a $245.00 purchase. Also, I'll return if I decide to add other shelves. She helped me with all the closet shelves and drawers, supports and brackets that I needed and double checked it. She told me about money off the purchase if I opened a Home Depot Charge, which I did, she walked me to the check out to make sure everything was rang up correctly. She asked me if I wanted help in carrying things out. All done with a sincerly nice attitude. Who does this? Amy Heyman.

Home Depot Castle Rock store

I have been shopping at Home Depot for many years but that has come to an end, my business will now be given to Lowes. My frustrations with the customer service in this particular store are with 2 employees that I have had the displeasure of coming into contact with. one in particular is Linda in the decor/ carpeting area, my concern is that is she there to give customer service or read magazines, I wondered thru that dept. for fifteen minutes with nary a look up or concern as to whether I needed help. I needed carpet samples and information on an install for my unfinished house, now when I finally awoke her from her trance like state to ask a few questions I truly think she was irritated with me for bothering her, nor did she have the answers to my simple questions, she stated she would have to get with her manager Kathy to help me, I just wanted to buy some carpet, do you train your employees before they hit the floor or is everything run by the seat of your pants? I would seriously talk to her about her attitude towards customers because in my opinion it stinks and she just lost your company the chance to carpet my entire house, I will never shop your store again, thank goodness there is another option in Castle Rock. A very dissatisfied customer!
