With Sony's release of the PS3 slim coming in at a more mangeable $299 price tag, it looks like Microsoft plans to put up a fight by giving the Xbox 360 a nice little price drop.  Both Amazon and Gamestop have the Xbox 360 Game of the Year bundle marked down to $299.99 after a $100 price cut.  The Xbox 360 Game of the Year bundle includes:

• Black Xbox 360 Elite Console
• 120GB Hard Drive
• Black wireless controller
• Halo 3 video game
• Fable II video game
• Black wired headset
• Component HD AV cable
• HDMI cable
• Ethernet cable

For gamers who aren't interested in the Game of the Year Bundle, the Xbox 360 Pro bundle has been given a $50 price cut and is marked down to $249.99.  Not a bad deal for either of the Xbox 360 bundles, but if you can shell out another $50 I would say that the Elite bundle is the way to go.
