Today is the last day of September...do you know what that means? There are only 9 DAYS LEFT before the end of our Writing Tips Contest. Abmox has received some great ideas from the entries, but he needs more! Hurry up, there's not much time left!< p>

While you're in the mood for contest writing, why not submit entries to our Dream Job Contest as well! Though you have a little more time to enter this contest, contest entries are due by November 9th, you should probably do it sooner rather than later. The more entries you have, the more chances you have to win!

There was a Twitter contest today! If you are not following Xomba on Twitter or a fan of us on Facebook, what are you waiting for? There are semi-regularly held (we like to keep it a surprise) contests on both of these sites. Want to make a little extra money? This is a great way to do it!

Xomba has some great news! Our feature articles are now going to be appearing in Google News! There is no time like the present to apply for a feature writer position, think of all the extra exposure! If you feel as though you are an expert in any one of our categories, check out that specific categories page. If there is a feature writer position open, you will see a place for you to apply. If your desired position is not available, don't worry, positions become available all the time.

Have you been following Nicks blog? Nick, the CEO of Xomba, has taken a trip to New York City and he's bring you along for the ride. Nick will be in the city for ten days and will blog about each adventure he goes on! It truly feels as though you are right there with him.

New User Alert- From time-to-time Xomba likes to feature a new and outstanding user. This time around we would like to spotlight Kidgas. Kidgas has written for many other writing websites, but decided to try out Xomba because of all the good things he had been hearing. Kidgas set a goal for himself for the month of September. He wanted to create one Xombyte and four Xomblurbs everyday for the entire month. We hope you were able to achieve your goal Kidas, and hope that all our new users are reaching their Xomba goals.
