Xomba Blog: New Layout For The Front Page

Hey Everyone,

We're experimenting with the front page of Xomba before committing to a final design.

We've decided to post the top Xombytes again.

Let us know what you think. We're just testing information we want to display on the front page and not the design of it.

We thought you guys might be interested in a website that let's you take images to use in your Xombytes for free. The site is part of Wikipedia.
Go here and find a good image for your Xombytes and Xomblurbs.

Nothing beats public use images for free. Pictures really liven up your posts.

To learn more about how to post an image click here.

Instead of investing in the market you should invest in Xomba by writing articles. They don't really lose value. I'll talk about it more on Monday. A sure strategy that can put some extra dough in your pocket.

Have a great weekend and stay safe,
Nick

Oh, it would be Heavenly if the people who join for whatever reason have little-encouragements along the way reassuring them that THEIR reason for joining (and no other reason for joining) is the right one; BUT there are so many reasons for joining (and so many newer ones everyday) that it wouldn't be fair to lift up a few as the "right" reasons ... especially since the ones we like are probably the *wrongest ones.* Better just to Turn Xombie & Help! ---Uncle MythMan & we Xombies Enlighten You on Money, Love, God etc. Turn Xombie & Help! & LinkBrander will help you 'feast on the Internet Brains'!

Xombytes

Re: Signature

Doesn't this already exist? I think it's in the options on your profile page... adding a sig to your posts.

@myth..still missing the point

Move on..if you still don't understand...I know what a cookie is...I'll try one more time to help you understand... The referral link only goes to one page. If you could attach your referral ID to the end of any URL then you could send a Xombie prospect to a page that may pique their interest and the cookie would still track. OK? 'nuff said..I'm sure the Xomba staff understand what I mean, so if you get it, great..if not..sorry.. Click here to find out how you can get paid to post items like this. It's free and easy to join.

Xomba Workshop

It's time for us to have a new Xomba Workshop. Check the new Xomba Blog. It is easier for us to answer your questions that way. Spread the word.

Thanks to Nick

I make money each and every day on Xomba.... sometimes a little ... sometimes more.... and I make money because I have a lot of articles in the archives and because Nick works hard for me and for you each and every day...... So Thanks.... Angel

some ideas

Hi, would like to make one observation. I understand that the title is very important because it becomes part of the URL. Keyword density is also important within the text. However, although those two techniques help the traffic they are not always enough to get the right adverts on the page. I often see adverts that have nothing to do with the article. But if one then looks at the right column one sees that there are maybe half a dozen new posts with a similar theme and those words are also used to fetch the "relevant" ads for that particular page view. The only way I can see to stop that is to code those right-hand lists as, perhaps, feeds, so that all the google ads see is code in those sections and therefore focusses on the text of the article. As I'm here, re Xomblurbs and Xombytes, sometimes it does happen that a Xomblurb gets a lot of comments so I wouldn't dismiss them completely. One very simple semiotic trick could be just to change the font for the Xomblurbs titles - remove the bold, for example. So in the list of related articles one could still have both types but the eye can easily see which is which without much training. Keep up the good work! Money for your Thoughts - join now OWO-BV

@josephehoward--On the Green Abmox

The green is part of Abmox's Halloween costume--the Hulk--and I liked the look, so I use it in my avatar, a swirling of the yin-yang unto Abmox Hulk! I think I know about the money, but I'll either a) let Xomba Admin field that one or b) let you use the links below and the search-engine above to find out for yourself! ---Uncle MythMan & we Xombies Enlighten You on Money, Love, God etc. Turn Xombie & Help! & LinkBrander will help you 'feast on the Internet Brains'!

Multitasking Doesn't Work

Thanks for offering the workshop Nick, obviously I'm missing something. I earn from 3 cents to $2 per day, averaging probably 50 cents per day. I don't lower myself to the cup size, or Britany Spears people per se(leave that poor girl alone people). And I put some xombytes on just for me(as a hobbie). It's hard to move from job hunting window to xomba, and multitask. There was a new study done which claims multitasking doesn't work!
