There are only 5 days left in October, but unless something dramatic happens, my traffic at HubPages will actually decrease this month despite adding 15 articles.  Those articles by themselves account for a significant portion of the traffic that I have gotten during the month anyway.  I am really disappointed by the level of traffic that I am getting from HubPages this month.  I have tried to publish on a consistent basis, and it seems as if I am having to do more and more just to keep the traffic and views that I have.

At least I can say that my AdSense earnings have improved this month at HubPages so the quality of the traffic that I am getting must be fairly decent.  But I really want to keep an eye on the overall pattern in the month of November so that I can focus on those online writing sites that will provide the most benefit for the effort.

Xomba, on the hand, has provided me with an increased level of traffic this month compared to last.  Granted, September was my first full month, and I should suspect my traffic would increase.  But my traffic and earnings with Xomba are already one-third the level of HubPages with one-fifth the number of articles.  Not to mention, Xomba is responsible for some of my HubPages traffic through links.  That suggests to me that I should spend more time on Xomba than on HubPages.  If I multiply the number of articles that I have on Xomba by 5, my earnings should really improve provided the same patterns hold.

I am still in the process of deciding where I want to focus my efforts for the month of November, but I bet from the above information, you can make a decent educated guess.  Then I will be able to assess November's results and make some more decisions going forward.  I will be sure to keep everyone informed of the outcome.
