Xombalization Nation Text Message: Make Money Online using an Editor-'Quota' on Better-than-'Making Money' Blogs
Uncle MythMan says ...

On another walk-about, I was thinking, "Why don't I do Xomba like a job?" I mean, the one time I got paid, this is how I did it: whatever I write, I type first into a Word-document or Notepad-program (not the Xombyte-posting program); then I wait until the last Xombyte I posted is either 'last on the front-page list' or 'no longer on the front-page list,' when I copy/paste the text into a new Xombyte.

That's if I'm inspired to write more than
the bare-bones 'one-or-two posts' before
I spend the rest of the 'work-day' com-
menting!

I do the same thing with Xomblurbs (except that I usually just post a `blurb of a bunch of links others can post individual `blurbs about).

You might think, "If you're lookin` ta` make quota, why don't you just write 25 links and up to 25 Xombytes, post all those and call it a day?"

Three reasons: 1) I am not the owner of Xomba.com or the only writer here, and so I don't want to (even briefly) present it as such; 2) I do not want this work to fall into the same rut-mindset as "paperwork"; and 3) 90% of the quality-content on Xomba (as opposed to the FREE MOVIES ON XOMBA.COM content) is in the comments below the post—one ought to spend 90% of one's time commenting!

Maybe it's closer to 80/20 or 95/5, but the exact number is not the point! The point is that blogs (especially Xomba, but there are others!) are the hosts of democratic press of today ... conception-place of Web 2.0—the Virgin Mary of the Computer Age ... and we blog-workers need to give no other example but that of a high comment-to-blog ratio, in order to lead the great web-surfers to plug into the power-system!

@veghead--Branches of the Same Vine, Children of a Lesser Noodle

You could say that Madonna and Grace Slick both latched on to the "Judy Garland"-pattern (and took it further in their own direction). And you could also say that all-three latched on to the pattern of "the ancient Greeks' sirens" or something, leading men astray the same way--yes--but not to the same end. Thus the sirens are survived by Judy Garland, survived by Grace Slick, survived by Madonna, survived by Britney Spears, survived by ... the next hot-young dancing songstress. ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! splitting philosophical hairs, are we?

Yeah, you're right, technically they all remain whatever they happen to be (although one could argue that microscopically speaking, everything is in a constant state of flux and change, so there can never be a definitive mythman or veghead or recession or anything else), but I thought we were talking about the concept of "everything's been done already" and there's nothing new in the world, ergo, Madonna is a younger version of Slick, who was a younger version of Garland, etc., etc. ad infinitum and ad nauseum . . .

@veghead--But the Past Doesn't Stop

Don't get me wrong; when things of before go on to a different place, that's where they belong. But Madonna REMAINS Madonna, Grace Slick REMAINS Grace Slick, the recession REMAINS the recession, and McCain REMAINS McCain ... simply 'following the pattern' of Bush, the depression, & Judy Garland ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! what's past is prologue

And Madonna was the next Grace Slick, Grace Slick was the next Judy Garland, the recession is the next depression, McCain is the next Bush, . . . and Obama, still the first Afro-American president-to-be.

It's Good You Remember the Past Goes "In the Past", veghead

I admit, sometimes I goof and 'replace the past' (Lewis Black- and/or Carlos Mencia-are/is the next George Carlin, Britney Spears is the next Madonna, Purple is the new Green is the new Gold, etc.); but the past still has its place! (George Washington, STILL the first U.S. President; Simon Peter, STILL the first Holy Roman Catholic Pope; Cleopatra, STILL the Queen of the Nile; Jesus Christ, STILL the First ... Next Adam!) ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! Xombies Enlighten on Money, Love, God ...Turn Xombie & Help!

you mean, if you can't be with the one you love,

love the one you're with? And how 'bout: Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose? I never believed that one either. Sometimes it's a good thing to lament what used to be and is no longer (Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end . . . ).

Alas, Tina Fey Won't Be Any Kind of Replacement, veghead

But "Love is ... What I Got" (not 'What I Will Never Have Again'). ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! Xombies Enlighten on Money, Love, God ...Turn Xombie & Help!

didn't know diddly about Fey

before her new career as a Palin clone. Have never watched 30 Rock, have barely turned on SNL since the days of Radner, Curtin, Belushi, Chase, et al. She'll never be as fabulous as they were (especially Gilda the Great), but she shows promise.

@veghead--So Great is Tina Fey's Power, Even Your Dogs Agree!

And it's so blesséd of you to grant them the chance to put in their 'two cents!' Really, you ARE on topic with the sentiment about Tina Fey! That is exactly how SHE has 'better-than-"money making" content,' by favoring the MASSIVE QUALITY of one impression over the MASSIVE QUANTITY of all the mediocre impressions she could probably do! And what is she known best for? COMMENTING on the weekly news. Am I the only one who now sees whom I am discipled to? ---Uncle MythMan Enlightens You on Money Here! when McCain/Palin are defeated in a landslide

I think we'll have Tina Fey to thank for it. I'm still chuckling over the latest SNL parody, of the VP debate. She is so dead on w/her Palin impersonation and absolutely hilarious (the guy who did Biden wasn't bad either). Fey has more success shining a light on the idiocy of "The Maverick" than any politician has managed so far. All of which has nothing to do w/your comment or xombyte, but I just had to share! ;) Woof woof.
