Xombalization Nation Text Message: Make Money Online using an Editor-'Quota' on Better-than-'Making Money' Blogs
Uncle MythMan says ...

On another walk-about, I was thinking, "Why don't I do Xomba like a job?" I mean, the one time I got paid, this is how I did it: whatever I write, I type first into a Word-document or Notepad-program (not the Xombyte-posting program); then I wait until the last Xombyte I posted is either 'last on the front-page list' or 'no longer on the front-page list,' when I copy/paste the text into a new Xombyte.

That's if I'm inspired to write more than
the bare-bones 'one-or-two posts' before
I spend the rest of the 'work-day' com-
menting!

I do the same thing with Xomblurbs (except that I usually just post a `blurb of a bunch of links others can post individual `blurbs about).

You might think, "If you're lookin` ta` make quota, why don't you just write 25 links and up to 25 Xombytes, post all those and call it a day?"

Three reasons: 1) I am not the owner of Xomba.com or the only writer here, and so I don't want to (even briefly) present it as such; 2) I do not want this work to fall into the same rut-mindset as "paperwork"; and 3) 90% of the quality-content on Xomba (as opposed to the FREE MOVIES ON XOMBA.COM content) is in the comments below the post—one ought to spend 90% of one's time commenting!

Maybe it's closer to 80/20 or 95/5, but the exact number is not the point! The point is that blogs (especially Xomba, but there are others!) are the hosts of democratic press of today ... conception-place of Web 2.0—the Virgin Mary of the Computer Age ... and we blog-workers need to give no other example but that of a high comment-to-blog ratio, in order to lead the great web-surfers to plug into the power-system!

@veghead--Guru Sting Believes in Your Power over Your Dogs'

Ah, that Sting . . .

What a wise guy. Anyways, so far so good. I informed all four dogs that they need to be nice to their new neighbors and also to be careful, and even my loose cannon pricked up his ears. They're curious but respectful, except for a little extra barking.

@veghead--But the Loose Cannon Still Knows Its Base

I might add something from Guru Sting, "If you love somebody ... Set Them Free," but not without a word of reinterpretation. If you aren't worried about 'where that dog is,' you never lose it ... choose to know it is resting at home, and don't worry about "proving it." ---Buddha tells Uncle MythMan, "Flood the Open Eyes with the Truth, for as Long as You Exist!" 2 horsies just moved in next door

@veghe--So What's Stoppin` You from Joining My Group on YouTube?

... I mean, other than the fact that I just now created it at http://www.youtube.com/group/Loudica ... A group for read-out-louders! Yayy! ---Buddha tells Uncle MythMan, "Flood the Open Eyes with the Truth, for as Long as You Exist!" Help Him Spread the Truth (about stuff) Here!

I would NEVER buy a pet shop pet, mythman!

What do you take me for?! Pet shop pets come from puppy and kitten mills, which are animal warehouses and prisons. NEVER EVER buy an animal at a pet shop! I don't care what my pets think of me, particularly, but I don't want to distress and confuse them either, since I value their company and (relative) sanity. Actually, come to think of it, they already know I'm freaky, so if I suddenly got into the habit of reading out loud, they'd probably just yawn and go back to sleep.

@veghead--So What! if Your Pets Think You're Freaky?

If you 'care what they think,' then they're not doing a good job as "pets" (I would say, 'Ask for your money back,' but the problem's not with the pet-shop!) One of the main reasons for 'reading aloud' is so that you can hear the writing's "discussion" to you---you can hear what the statement sounds like, and either re-emphasize it so it DOES make sense or sort of 'edit' it (i.e. adding the 'oh! they must've meant ~this~'-clauses, in your head and then maybe in comments on it). ---Buddha tells Uncle MythMan, "Flood the Open Eyes with the Truth, for as Long as You Exist!" instant gratification 'r' us

We've become a nation of "entertain me, and make it quick", and it's easy to slip into that mode, no matter how you much you fight it, particularly when the news is so uniformly depressing. If I start reading aloud to myself, my dogs and cats will think I'm talking to them, and I don't want to freak 'em out. It'll all come back to me, just like riding a bicycle. Or something.
