XombaZine - Medicine for the mind & soul.... Xomba Books - An Idea!
There should be a way, here on Xomba, where articles that exceed a certain length and/or time-frame could be accumulated into Xomba Books, and, us, being members could piece them together, as, partials or whole chapters, eventually expanding to a XombaZine (it almost sounds like medicine, nice ring to it – I just made it up).
XombaZine could be medicine for the mind and soul. XombaZine!

Let me get back to my point of writing this.
Xomba Books, the point of this article, an idea:
Because on a bigger scale, a whole new area of Xomba could be created --- Xomba Books -- Xomba could actually be our publishing company, and, maybe the books, individually, of course, could be downloaded for a fee, thus creating revenue, both for Xomba, and those of us who have writings bigger than just an article, and with this generation of revenue would come more revenue for Google.
We could, even, offer book chapters for download. I think it is a worthy idea, and, comments by members should be encouraged.
I'd be very interested to hear comments from our members on this, just to see out of curiosity...

Xomba print on demand book is a great idea bigpink. This is a huge area of publishing and would be worth Xomba looking in to. And some of the stories and writings here on Xomba are definitely marketable. It's also a good idea to keep thinking of innovative ways to forge ahead with the love of writing. Great job +1 from me.

Anything that shifts the writing users into actually making some money sounds good to me. I write a lot of different things, but my adsense account is less than mediocre....
We can do ebooks with or without Xomba. It is possible to format your very large articles into an ebook. Offer a sample of it on xomba with a link to order it.
Probably would work fine, unless there is a clause in the rules... NICK?

Yes, there are side-effects, but, unlike so many medications, which have downside side-effects, XombaZine side-effects are all positive, the biggest one being the increase of brain activity, especially in the area of absorption of full-spectrum knowledge.
Other side effects, not always apparent, are the broadening of conversation-content with others.
XombaZine has also been linked to people becoming more confident in everyday interactions.
Since XombaZine is so new, other areas of "positivity" still need to be studied, and hopefully all of us Xomba scientists will continue to investigate its effects.

Are all ebooks free? No
I think the term "ebooks" is too generalized, and has attached to it many misconceptions, one of them being that they are all free.
There are several devices out on the market, now, which allow you to download book (originally published in paper), and ebook (originally published electronically) content.
Downloads for these devices are free and fee based.
I believe there should be a new term created, so, as, to separate the freebies from solid real content eBooks. Just because its Internet-published should not lessen the work of authors.
If you've put as much work into your writing as that of an author who is fortunate enough to have a printed book, why should you give away your hard work, including accepting pennies from Google, when the print-author is receiving dollars from a print-publisher?
And, know it or not, the Internet is eating away at all forms of Twentieth Century based media. We are in the Twenty-first Century. It is time to unshackle ourselves from old ideologies of centuries past.
Columbus did it five hundred years ago. We should follow his lead. And, Columbus, couldn't just sit at his desk. He had to take his desk across an ocean! (Actually three desks.)

I created one, but I can't seem to get it to show in my signature. I pasted the code, but not all of it shows up when I go to make comment. What am I doing wrong? :(
I just go to widgetbox and use the get widget icon, copy and paste it (every time)...it doesn't seem to work in the signature.
Didn't realize my E-mail was shut off...had a few frisky spammers trying to get me, I must have freaked out and turned it off but I will re-enable it...

Now that's a cool idea. There are a lot of people out there who subscribe to e-zines, as they are often free. E-books, on the other hand-usually have a fee set with them. In fact, many e-book authors will set up a free e-zine that goes with their e-book. The more subscribers they get to their zine, means more possibilities for selling their book.
Ok, I'm getting off topic here. Anyway, I think an ezine that links to this site would be a wonderful resource.
