Proving that a mother's love sometimes surpasses all reason and good judgment, Karen Colleen Stribel, of Lebanon, Tenn. expressed her support this week for her daughter. The same daughter who was heard on tape in the courtroom planning her mother's murder. Lauren Ashley Morrow and her boyfriend, Andrew Bland, 24, are accused of conspiring to hire an 18-year-old high school senior, Joshua Stubblefield to murder the girl's mother.

On the tape, played at a probable cause hearing, Morrow can be heard telling Stubblefield, "If you shoot her with a shotgun, don't shoot her in the face, please." The girl and her boyfriend were interested in what they believed was a two million dollar life insurance policy on the mother.

Currently Lauren Ashley Morrow is back living with her mother as she awaits trial. The mother believes her daughter never would have done such a thing. Even though the terms of the agreement were well defined: Stubblefield would be paid 150,000 when the life insurance came through.

Memo to moms everywhere: being supportive of your kids is great to a point.

An Atlanta area woman, 25 yr old Nafiza Ziyad, is in jail today after police tracked her down after seeing a YouTube video in which she ranted and screamed and threatened an elderly woman. Ziyad is being charged with assault and is being held on violation of her probation. Her mother says she is bi-polar and didn't take her medication.
