Actor Brad Pitt kicked off the Make It Right initiative in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans by donating $5 million of his own money. Make It Right is Pitt's idea to help get New Orleans back on its feet again. Through The Pink Project, Pitt and other sponsors hope to have 150 new houses, all bought and paid for by private donations from anybody who wants to see New Orleans rise from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, erected by the end of Summer 2008.
