Do you feel like you're stuck in a rut and you can't escape? Are you sick of your job? Are you not really sure what you really want to do with your life?
One of the keys to happiness is doing what you love. You might think sitting on a beach for the rest of your life relaxing sounds like it might be a pretty nice life, and yes, it is, for a while. Eventually though, boredom will set in and both your body and mind will cease up. Man is not supposed to sit around all day. Productive work is one of the most important keys to life. It can bring you self-esteem, confidence, social interaction, growth, motivation, and a sense of purpose.

Believing in God is dangerous. Once you have faith, you no longer base your thoughts on reality. Then, any atrocity can be justified.

If your mind is being influenced by external source, ie: other people, then any concept you form in your mind is subject to any irrationalities and non sequiturs that those other sources have used.

If atheists were a strongly defined group that could adopt a strongly defined, albiet secular, set of morals, perhaps more religious people could be persuaded to drop their supernatural beliefs. Many religious people really do question the validity of their beliefs, and every day science continues to strip religion's credibility, but very few doubt the morals that religion gives them. This is what gives religion its strength. If it teaches how to be a good person, all the nonsense that comes with it must also be accepted.

Being funny is a great skill that can be very useful in many areas of your life. Many people live under the false idea that being funny is a genetic thing, that if you're not born with it there's nothing you can do about it. While you may not reach the ranks of the big comedians, there's nothing stopping you improving your ability to make people laugh in every day life, and that will make your life more fun.

One day, after several years of working as a manager of an electronics factory, I took a look back at my life and thought "What have I created? What am I leaving to the world?"

Then came the shocking realisation that there was actually nothing. While I had successfully helped improve the efficiency and turnover of the factory, there was nothing lasting that I could be proud of. There was nothing that had come from my soul or had my personal touch to it. There was nothing that expressed any creativity. I realised that my soul had actually been sleeping for the past few years. I had not been living, just existing.

Ask yourself how important being happy is. If you don't find it very important then what is the purpose of your life? Happiness is the purpose of our lives. I challenge you to disagree!

Long term, boosting your attitude requires that you're living the life you want to, the right spouse, the right career, the right friends. If you don't have these things, being happy on a permanent basis is quite difficult, and you're lying to yourself if you disagree.

You may have heard recently of this new idea, called "Transhumanism". It is an idea system defined in the dictionary as "man remaining man, but transcending himself, by realizing new possibilities of and for his human nature" or "Advocacy of improvement to the human condition through enhancement technologies, such as eliminating aging and expanding intellectual, physical or physiological capacities."
