More and more parents are choosing to attend college. College is and still remains a mind-blowing experience in the sense that there will be a variety of learning styles and challenges your body and mind will be introduced to. Try adapting to writing papers, deadlines, continuous research and assignments. Then add children to the picture (Scary Uh!). That’s the same thing I thought when I got pregnant in my second year of college. The first thing that I thought about is how was I going to find study time. The second thing I thought about is will I ever have time to myself. The third and final thing I thought about is how would I be able to balance all this responsibility and still be a mother that nurture’s her child.

Americans can remember when gasoline prices were at a reasonable amount per gallon. Not anymore, gasoline and oil prices have been on the rise since the year 2000. According to the Department of Energy, Americans will spend over $200 billion more on energy this year than last year. The increase in gasoline and oil prices has created an impact on Americans and businesses all around the world (The Impact of Skyrocketing Energy Prices 1).

In the news story “Runaway Bride” incident, the runaway bride (Jennifer Wilbanks) could be charged with a crime in Washington State. The crime Ms.Wilbank’s could be charged for under the RCW 9A.76.175, is making false or misleading statement to a public servant. In RCW 9A.76.175 states “A person who knowingly makes a false or misleading material statement to a public servant is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.” Ms.Wilbanks violated this state code when she called her fiancé and reported that she had been kidnapped. Ms.Wilbanks knew that she had given false information to her fiancé; she also later admits to the police how she arranged her own disappearance.

Religion has always played a strong role, in connection with the entire world. Religion is ancient and goes back all the way to the beginning of time. The word church is often related to religion. There are a number of religions, which are studied throughout the world. Many people have been known, to have a positive, loving, faithful, trustworthy, and respectful attitude towards the denomination in the church. Priests, Pastors, Deacons, Reverends, and the First Lady are highly trusted and respected from community within the church, as well as the community outside the church. Abuse within a religion, has a major effect, in the church, and on survivors of abuse.
