The first just kept going and going and going...it came after the war of words with Flintoff...and the anger behind it was visible!!! poor Yuvi was disappointed that it didnt beat 111 mts...

The next SIX, a sweet flick off the legs, swatting a fly, and the ball flies into the crowd beyond backward square leg ... the anger still there...

Then it is smashed over extra cover on his legs...what is Yuvi thinking of now....wonder what Flintoff said...and would it be better for Mascarenhas to go off the field!

A case for Yuvraj

After those sixes Yuvraj has AGAIN made a terrific case to be in the Test Team. He is at his prime, he is brilliant in the field and he is a Winner...Lets review the team to see where he should be...My case is he can just about replace anyone in the team including the over over hyped players well past there prime!

What a win! A most inspired performance, one that we hope for all the time...but never materialises! Just shows what a hungry side with a collective 50 years (Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly) removed from its age can do!!! To beat South Africa at its own game, at their tailor made pitch, says something. The Sepoy has done it. Prashant has defeated the hugely talented Amit. Of course many other more talented also fell by the wayside in the process. I guess the win is a combination of the Sepoy, Darjeeling votes as also a natural integrity evidenced in Prashant's voice. The smiling Idol has overcome many a hurdle in the process not the least of which is a "not so great" voice.He watched many dashing contestants like Parleen, Abhishek and Charu fall by the wayside. The hugely talented Emon of course made it to the Final 3 but i guess some amount of over confidence crept into his voice. Prashant in the meantime kept on outdoing himself in very outing. Eventually his nerve held in that hugely difficult song "tanhaaai" and yesterday he was outstanding in the Main hoon Na songs of Sonu.
