A Strippers Diary - I just give them something to think about. Part 1
Wow, time goes by so fast. I was planning to be a dancer (strippers prefer to be called dancers) for only about 2-3 years. I always said to myself that I would go back to school and get a "normal" job as soon as possible. It has now been 12 years since I started dancing. I am not like the others though..... no really, I know they all say that but I am really not. I don't drink, don't smoke and I don't do drugs. I don't sleep with customers and I have never had to. I have a very "normal" life outside of work. In fact I don't even make friends with the other girls I work with and once I leave the club I have nothing to do with it at all.
Endometriosis - a woman's nightmare
Endometriosis
It's a womans nightmare. Finding out that one day you may not be able to have kids because of it is even harder to accept. I had my first laparoscopic surgery when I was 20. I was told that I would have 2 incisions, one by my belly button and the other down by my hairline at the bottom of my stomach. I woke up with 3. The third one was on the lower left side of my stomach. I was told that some of my endometriosis was removed from the third incision.
Love Is Something Special - Poem
Love is something special,
you've got to let it grow.
You both will find inside each other,
there's nothing you don't know.
It's not something that you look for.
It's something that you find.
NightClub Promotions - some basic tips on throwing a successful event.
In nightclub promotions it's all about who you know. Anyone could throw an event but there are some basic tips you should know before you consider throwing one.
1. Go out to the same style events and get to know people. (incl. promoters, DJ's, club owners, regulars)
A Strippers Diary - I just give them something to think about. Part 2
My first time on stage was nerve racking. I think waiting for my turn was harder than actually going up there though. I remember picking some retro music like Madonna and something else from the 80's. It was a small place called Chez Paris II. And when I say small I mean small! I don't think I've seen one that small since, and I've been to many places since then. All I remember about walking on that stage was that my face was so red it felt like it was on fire. I must have looked like a robot, unable to relax and move smoothly and slowly. I tried to concentrate on every move I was making but then I noticed something.... were they clapping and screaming and making for me? I looked out into the crowed of men and they were clapping for me and watching every move I made. I realized that I had control over everyone in that room for the next 10 minuets. Having control was cool but I was still nervous so I just did the basic sexy moves I had been practicing in my bedroom the night before and made it through my 3 songs.
Be careful I just lost everything!!!
Ok I am so upset right now. I just wrote a blog for the last half hour and I was almost done and somehow I hit something and accidently refreshed my screen.
I actually screamed as this happened because I knew that if I hit that page back arrow that it would all be gone. And I was right it was gone.

O.K., so where was I... oh yea pool. I started to learn to play pool in my second month of dancing. I was never one of those dancers that would sit at the bar drinking when the club was slow. I always found something to keep my brain occupied. Usually I just found someone to play pool with. I learned from the pool sharks that would come in every week to practice. They were all members of a league that played at another bar near by. I guess there were times where the bar wasn't all that slow and I could have been making money by walking around instead of playing pool but I don't regret spending that time to learn. In the end, knowing how to play pool has made me more money than you can imagine.

Sugar A Drug????
Sugar is the most difficult thing I have ever tried to quit. I was even a smoker for 2 years of my life and found it easier to stop smoking. I have come to the conclusion that some of the most very common things in our kitchen are drugs. Sugar is number one on my list. Most of us have made the choice to start living a healthy lifestyle. We drink more water, we are more active, we have even changed our diets and stopped eating many things that are bad for us. Or have we?
