Merriam's Xombytes

Just kidding folks. :) I am a new Xomba user (a little over a week) and have posted some Xomblurbs to get a feel for the site as well as how Google AdSense works. I have, however, been occasionally disgruntled at the ad links Google places on my various Xomblurbs as they frequently don't have anything to do with the content of the Xomblurb, despite the fact that I try to use good titles, good tag words and sufficient content for the search engine to grab onto.

Yet Hollywood-related Xomblurbs and Xombytes (such as Vanessa Hudgens) seem to get related Google ads placed on them without any problems. (I'm not saying people shouldn't make posts about Hollywood stars, I'm merely discussing Google and their ad links-in fact, I posted two Hollywood-related Xomblurbs myself. I'm referring to what seems like discrepancies in the matter.)

For example, I posted several Xomblurbs regarding Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and naturally expected that Google would place ad links that related in some way to him or his campaign or the presidential elections or Congress or politics in general.

Instead, links offering how to make money online came up as well as links to other subjects that were completely unrelated.

In fact, on one occasion, a link to a herpes website came up. Now, I ask you-is that nice? :-D

Ron Paul has been married to the same woman for 50 years, has 5 children and 17 grandchildren and there has never been any scandal attached to him or his home life. Yet the mean computer at Google that controls the links puts a link to a herpes website on a Ron Paul Xomblurb? Is Google controlled by the "We used to be conservatives" Republican Party? Or perhaps HAL?
