Yahoo Mail Will Offer Unlimited Storage

Yahoo's free Web-based email will begin offering unlimited storage space in May, the company said late on Tuesday. Yahoo now offers 1GB of storage for its free service and 2GB for its pay email service. Yahoo is the first free email service to offer unlimited storage, sparing users the hassle of having to delete emails to stay within storage limits or be charged for excess usage.

Google's free Gmail offers more than 2.5GB of storage, and Windows Live Hotmail offers 2GB for free.

re: unlimited storage

Hmmm... you'd have to ask the Yahoo people about that one!

Yah Who?

Well it's nice to see yahoo doing something. Unlimited storage is a big deal and I very highly doubt they mean that. You mean I can send friend a 30 gig movie?
