Yao Ming Out for the Rest of Playoffs with Broken Foot

Seven-foot-six NBA superstar Yao Ming is out of the playoffs with a broken left foot, it was announced tonight, dealing a severe blow to the Houston Rockets in their drive to move on in the playoffs.

Yao Ming was limping visibly in Friday night's game against the L.A. Lakers, and it was revealed today that he has a hairline fracture in his left foot. No surgery will be needed, but the injury will take 8 to 12 weeks to heal.

The Lakers won last night and lead the best-of-seven series two games to one.
