Yay! We Got to See Space Junk Friday Night
It's not enough that we pollute the earth, but now we can see space trash/junk with the naked eye as a refrigerator-sized ammonia reservoir was dumped off of the International Space Station. It is estimated to orbit around us for at least another year before it reenters the atmosphere.
Space trash ruins my perception of a pristine, solitary, quiet place. Who wants to see images of gloves, rocket boosters and and ammonia reservoirs floating by the astronauts as they explore?
