1. It is normal to find people blaming others for upsetting them, but at the same time they take the responsibility of being happy on themselves. Is it not the same system of a human being which is responsible for all the feelings, whether it is happiness or upset ? Then why this paradox, for the good things with us we give credit to ourselves and blame other for not so good feelings.

2. I do believe that we are responsible for all we go through, we can easily control the feelings of self upset and other lows in the life, provided we want to. The problem starts when we start expecting something more than the expected result or a model behaviour from a individual or event, many times we may get it but the same does not always happen. This optimistic expectations of ours are the root cause of the upset. When result is not according to our line of thought the desperation and upsets start coming and we start flowing with it thinking that it is that event or other person responsible for it and I cannot do anything about the bad feeling except to continue to suffer till it is over.

3. It is not true that we don't have an option but to continue suffering, if we analyse the whole of the episode that has caused the upset to an individual he will find that he could have controlled the feelings, if the expectation from the result was pegged lower by the individual. In fact the same result could have given feeling of higher spirits if the expectation was rightly pegged. Therefore it is very much essential for us to limit our expectations to the realistic levels in life and this will ensure optimistic results from our hard work, which will keep our spirits high and keep stress levels to lower levels.

4. Next time you write a exam, appear for interview, build up a expectation from a friend or anything for that sake where the result comes after sometime, one should pitch his expectations a little lower than the realistic results then your spirits will be seldom hit and you will remain in higher spirits.

5. Incase the unexpected still hits, one has to realize that the individual is responsible for his feeling of upset and it is not the result
or other being and he alone is the individual who can ensure that the low feeling is thrown out from ones mind as early as possible. This truth should help the individual to come out of the upset as fast as possible and become normal again. So let us keep our spirits high and stresses low and get maximum out of life that has been given to us by god.
