You a fan of Fighting Games?

Once, one of the most poplular genres in video games, fighting games have lately taken a back seat to the first person shooters like Call of Duty and Left 4 Dead. Today, all that could change with the release of the next installment of the poplular Namco franchise, Tekken 6.

Close to 15 years since the debut of the original Tekken on the Playstation One, Tekken has always been one of the most poplular fighting games out there. With each release, Tekken pushes the envolope and this release promise to carry on that tradition. There are 40 different fighters to choose from such as original favorites including Law, Nina, Yoshimitsu, and Paul They have also added 6 new combatants such as a overweight karate expert named Bob. Add in a deep character creation mode and the possibilities are endless. The debut of Tekken on a next gen system allows for more character detail than ever. The stages are breathtaking and include breakable floors and walls that lead to new areas to to battle through. Add a new co-op campaign mode and online play for tons of replay value. This time around it isn't just for playstation users either. Xbox users get a chance to get in on the action this time too. Tekken 6 looks to to breathe a little bit of life back in to the less popular fighting game genre.

Tekken 6 comes out in stores all over today, for the XBox 360, Playstation 3, and PSP.
