You, My Boundless Hope

You, My Boundless Hope

Vs. I
You, my Boundless Hope;
I was graced by your starry
gaze, and felt as if I were
favored by Van Gohe's stroke,
and become one with firelight
floating and twinkling in the
void as I fell into your eyes
forever; And I was saddened,
for I knew that forever would
never be long enough.

Vs. II
You, my Boundless Hope;
I was enraptured by your
touch, and did not lust,
but truly felt, and my heart
began to beat with a fury
that rivaled the Hammer of
Thor; And even when a god
speaks in that voice stolen from
streaking light, breaking the sky
with it's sovereign song, my
quickening heart races only
for you and your touch.

Vs. III
You, my Boundless Hope;
The sweetness of your lips
was far superior to even
the taste of ambrosia,
and even the mighty
Pantheon of the Gods
stood in mute envy, for their
hunger was stark, bleak;
Lost in your kiss, I found
myself wandering, swimming
the whole of the Universe,
and for a time, lost in your kiss,
I was at home.

Vs. IV
You, my Boundless Hope;
Your form was grace born light as
a feather, and your beauty was the
reason for birdsong; I bathed in your
light, and I came away pure, and
I held you, and I held joy; Knowing
that all too soon we must part,
In your embrace, I felt the bliss
of a multitude of lifetimes lived
and fulfilled with no regrets,
lived to the fullest.  Letting you
go was hearing the words of my
own eulogy spoken aloud and
knowing I was not ready to die.

Vs. V
You, my Boundless Hope;
You allowed me to be in you,
and not to throw ourselves into
the flame only to burn, but to
step into the waters of our shared
passion and oneness, and to love;
And I pleased you, and you, I,
and it was Good as the Word spoke;
and we climbed to the highest of
heights as our passions rose,
and we saw heaven, and spoke
the name of That Which Thought
Creation and gave meaning
to...to be.

Vs. VI
You, my Boundless Hope;
You were the mending of my spirit,
and you carried my heart; You
enlightened my mind, and you
were the guardian of my shell;
Yin to my Yang, my perfect,
unabashed cliche, you showed me
the wisdom of true love and wholeness,
and your worth for my faith, and that,
without you, my Boundless Hope,
I am nothing, save alone.
