Tell others you’re happy often enough and you just might start believing it but it won’t change your situation. Tell them you’re working on your ego (note the non egotistical lower case e) frequently and you might believe you’re indeed doing that. Fall for the fallacy that first of all you must love yourself and the job is done. You are now so caught up with yourself that other – now seemingly - less important matters such as the real crap other people are living with become as insignificant as you are. This is the modern, gushy, self-centred, self-important way that many have fallen for.

You may have noticed. Such people write articles about various topics but you soon see they are based on “I, I, me, me, I. I believe. I did this, I did that, I did the other. I am, I was, I will, I will not. They take themselves very seriously.

Nobody Has the Right to be Happy

It is a shame but nobody has the right to be happy. Correction, nobody has the right to be “happy” in the American sense of the word. This is the gushy, perfect world happiness, which can be bought. The tsunami proof house on the shore, state of the art technology, full health care – so superior than the people living elsewhere – so happy.

True Happiness

Happiness is a life with happenings. Check out the etymology of the word and you’ll see. Helping, assisting, caring, cleaning, writing and doing it for others – not in an attempt to feed your ego will do you far more good than “learning to love yourself”.
