Adult Video Game Addictions

Wow, I could agree with this. Afterall, that is why I found Xomba. Tired of listening to the noise of guns, jets and automobiles, being left to cook, clean and take care of business, I went in search of my own entertainment. But I must admit, I found friends, earn money and am able to voice my thoughts, concerns and opinions without fear of 'rocking the boat'. Who could ask for anything more? Not just kids (but grown men too) (and women)

We have some friends who are so addicted to computer games. Addicted to the point of neglecting and ignoring life in general. Housework, jobs, paying bills, relationships are all neglected. I suspect it may be some form of escapism but Im not an expert. Good points in the article. Thank you. For more articles by this author click here

Kids and Video Game Addiction

Great article! I think parents need to be more active in monitoring their kids' video game usage and the affects it might be having on their kids. All kids are different just like all adults are different when it comes to other types of addictions. I limit my kid's time on electronic devices and there are consequences when he doesn't comply. He knows I will follow through unlike the kid quoted in the article that his parents would never remove the game system from his room.
